M&H fuel pin

got a 92 with the crappy gertag 5 speed. what would be the best fuel pin from M&H. do they give horsepower rating on each pin? i have turned the fuel screw on the back of the pump way up and put different air intake, and 3" straight pipe. that is it!

i'd put gauges in it b4 you start messin with fuel pins... the m4 and m5 have the same full fuel ammount they just adjust when it hits full fuel with a different profile. the m3 has an increased mid and top fuel but it isnt as agressive as the m4 or m5 and last but not least the m2 is a towing pin i suppose... its got a better fuel curve and a slight increase over stock... if you go into the contests and give aways M&H and dieselbombers are sponsoring a fuel pin give away for first gens... it has a description of the pins... probably easier to understand then my jumble.... be sure to enter that contest tho, cant beat a free fuel pin:U:

i should be o.k. egt wise with just messing with the fuel adjustment on the back of the pump and repositioning the stock fuelpin. kinda risky i guess! just with the back pump adjustment it rolls some good coal. i hit about 1250 rollin the coal on my 96. i need to really get a pyro/ boost set up for my 1st gen

the cost of everything goes up, but not my paycheck!!!!!!!

messin with the stock fuel pin and smoke screw wont change egt's too much... maybe just low end egt's... the full fuel screw is where you'll start running into egt problems (screw on the back) i dont know if my pyro is messed up or not but with my listed mods i havent even topped 700 yet

Tower ofpower, is your pyro in your downpipe, I can't remember not seeing more than 700 degrees even from a stop till 35 mph, its been a long time sense I've had a fairly stock truck. I guess that my high egt had something to do with the trans going out, engine couldn't push the truck by itself.

I'll take it if you want to sell it if you ever decide to downgrade to a slushbox or NV4500!

i was told that that tranny was a weak link by a few. but sounds like that is not the case. have not researched it that much. guess i should do more research before calling it crappy!

ahhh yeah i keep forgetting that it is post turbo... so i take that back... i havent gone over 900* corrected by the 200 rule of thumb :U: thanks for the reminder. as for the getrag... i'm pretty sure the only downside is 5th gear... i believe you can permanently fix that problem now and it'll handle just about w/e you throw at it...
