I agree with your statement, but at the same time these are the same people that say don't judge a book by its cover or beauty is skin deep, yet one diesel powered pickup or tractor trailer or just anything with a diesel engine that smokes gets judged immediately because it looks "bad" when they don't even understand how a diesel engine works or why they smoke

indeed more smoke will get the EPA's attention but it isnt just the first gen guys doing it; as richie said 2nd and 3 gens get to do it all the time... just by the assumption that since they're newer they HAVE to be cleaner... it isnt our fault; it's everyone elses ignorance that makes our smoke seem so bad. although then you have the guys that get abit carried away with it and never have any intentions of upgrading the induction system... those guys are the real :asshat: i havent even got the truck legally on the road yet and i've de-tuned it slightly... the H1C takes too long to clear the smoke up and still hazes heavily :w2:
