If you are around 400rwhp or under, you'll have no problem with a regular HX40. Like Bobby said, you'll want one with a 16cm housing though.

My truck barks teh hell out of the turbo with a 12mm and right at 425hp. I'm glad I dont have the HX40. I'm scared with the Silver 62... :D

wow thats some awsome power, that silver 62 must be a really good turbo
:U:

I like it alot! The 62 wheel spools OK to make the power down low were the VE likes it, and the 74 wheel with teh 14cm housing flows plenty up high to keep the drive pressures in check!

i was thinking of the 62/65/12 from jacob and he has a high flowing wastegate which flows more than 200% more than the regular 12cm wastegate on other s300, do you think my drive pressures would be ok
:humm:

They will be higher then normal (not to much to worry unless you make some HUGE power) I would think but that thing will spool quick as hell!!!

alright thanks that helps

i think i'm only at about 250hp or around there never been on a dyno, but i was wondering if it would flow enough air, like alot more than stock.

a S300 or a Super40 will do fine at those levels and should support yuo to 400+

DieselPerformanceGuy 10-11-2009 12:24 PM

alright thanks for the help i'll look into both of them and which i can find a better deal on:U:
