i got a 91 5 speed 4 by 4 and i would not sell mine for that. if it is in good condition you got a good buy

Just watchout for the wiring problens on those first gens they ar a pain in the neck

thanks for all the input guys. yeah i purty much love this truck. now i gotta buy some gauges and crank that fuel up :U:

Governor spring and fuel... Amazing what a weekend and a couple of wrenches can do for power. I find it more satisfying to tinker with springs and things instead of uploaders. I played with both my 89 and 93, lotsafun...:U:

Of course you are gonna have to poke around.. the pre-intercooler engines did have some specific problems with upping the power too much as EGT's get out of control in a hurry. The one point is the head has 9mm injector holes instead of 7mm with the 91.5 and up engines and can be more prone to cracking from the exhaust port to the injector. Anyway... its a fun project truck for sure...:c:

You and me both. Is it bad to never even drive your new truck without a programmer on it?
