POD injectors for 1989 cummins

Could anyone tell me why you need sleeves for only pod 50hp injectors in a 1989 first gen

pods are 7mm and non ic heads are 9mm...

cummins Pride 02-25-2014 09:55 AM

I believe non I/C injectors are 4x14, and pods are 4x15.

Either way don't get pods. They're a really cheap, dirty injector. A good mild injector would be a marine 370. It flows a little more than the stock sticks, has the correct spray angle, and would be a much cleaner injector than pods. They're also a stock Bosch injector so pricing is quite reasonable

arnt the 370 marines rated at like a 90hp injector
