too hot?

i plan on running 5x14s from diesel auto power, 2 turns on power screw, denny t stage 2 pin, a phatshaft 62/70 from industrial injection, arp head studs and a hamiltion 188-208 cam.
Would i be seeing high egts from this setup? i plan on using an intercooler from my 24 valve parts truck. The guy at industrial injection said i would be fine with this setup but i just want to have a second opinion.

Doesn't sound that hot. Especially with 14cm housing.

But then that turbo isn't really *that* much bigger than a $100-200 HX35 (used). Then keep saving for an even bigger turbo, or compounds.

A good 4" turbo-back exhaust goes a long way in keeping EGTs down, too.

Oh, and if your injectors are a tad bigger, you can make use the 14mm pump head. :c:

if you do get a little warm you can turn down the fueling. We also offer a 63/65 and a 63/68 for about the same price

what about like a phatshaft 64/70? what would spooling be like?

BlaineKaiser 02-13-2014 06:33 PM

i have a similar setup and my egts are never above 1300 so you should be fine.

64mm is pretty big.
