92 1st gen steering problem

My 92 12v has a problem and I'm not sure exactly what it is. When I turn tr steering wheel to the left it shifts it into neutral it's a 4 speed auto someone let me know if they know what's going on I have not a clue

Look inside your engine bay by the firewall where the steering column comes through. The linkage from your shift lever travels down the column and hooks to some more linkage headed down to your transmission. If nothing is obvious have a friend turn the steering wheel while you watch it.

Good Luck!

There are bushings in the column that support the steering shaft and the shift shaft that can fail. As RedChevy44 said, have some one turn the wheel while you watch. You'll see it flop around. Had a Ramcharger that would do that, it also wondered all over the road.
