wered ya go

"well i have a line comming from the intake manifold that also gos into the AFC so im not worried about that"
I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't get my boost over 20 psi. It turned out that I had a small crimp in my boost line going into the back of my AFC housing. I made a longer boost line and it cleared the problem up. Now I can hit 40 psi as usual! |
what line is it is it the line commining from the intake manifold ir is it the line to the wastegate
the DD15 turbo set up pretty cool..
the dd15 isnt a turbo setup its a diesel engine made buy detroit but the turbo is nice sence it is ran off the flywheel
its the line coming from the intake manifold, it's a really short/tight line, and if it develops a crimp or sharp bend it will dramaticaly effect how your afc arm moves, thus limiting your boost building ability.
oh ok i will have to take a look at that today
ok guys the turbo pressure problem has been resolved since i upgraded to 370HP stage 2 injectors and a number 5 fuel plate now i hit 35PSI without breaking a sweat
easier solution is to go to napa and get a 1/4 in valve, plumb it into the line that comes out of the afc and goes to the wastegate. Turn the valve off and the wastegate won't open, ill bet you'll hop up to 35lbs of boost with that alone.
