talked to the guy its been sitting for 8 months and i have a buddy that has a built auto tranny that has 150,000 miles on it and is rebuilt and sitting in the shop i can get for 1 grand. :s: good deal??

captain_stabbin 08-17-2011 01:13 AM

sounds like a good deal, hows the body/ interior

dezzrats 08-17-2011 08:39 AM

Looks workable, with some love and wrenching. For $3000 you can't mess up too bad.

PStroker 08-17-2011 11:54 AM

Captain:Interior is good, just has the normal little rips in the seat, I will most likely be gettin a seat cover if i get it. But the pass side fender is a little crinkled. It somes with a new fender though.
Dezzrats:Yep! Thats what i was thinkin. :choochoo:

id buy it for that price, its hard to find a good 12valve now

redrocket9793 08-18-2011 05:30 AM

noticed it didn't have batteries??? and id go to at least 2500 its gonna take work to get the trans. in not to mention prevent death wobble.

PStroker 08-18-2011 11:23 AM

RedRocket: Huh, i actually didn't. Why is it going to take at least 2500? Other than the tranny the fenders messed up but i am going to leave that for a while. My father is a certified diesel mechanic whos been doin this for 30 years so it wont be to difficult to put the tranny back in. As for death wobble how do you know it will have it?

Do it... 3000$ is nothing....

STDiesel59 08-18-2011 11:25 PM

I dont know what you do for a livin but for me 3000 bucks is alot of money

H.R.D 08-19-2011 03:04 AM

To me that is a good price, however the price doesn't bother me as much as the condition of the truck. I personally would keep on looking. There are better deals to be had out there. Just my thoughts.:tu:
