brake issues....need pictures and a part name

I've got a 97 12v, 3500. Since I bought it, the abs and brake light have been on. When I was checking it out with the guy who upgraded my trans, he said there was a module that should have been on the drivers side fenderwell that was missing. He found the connector that went to it, as well as you can see the holes where it mounted. Can someone take a picture of thirs if they have it, and let me know what exactly that is? I thought it might be the abs module, but it didn't seem to be in the right spot for any of them, according to what I've been researching. I need to get that taken care of before I move, since the next state I'm moving to has inspections. I've already replaced the rear wheel sensor, and that didn't fix the issue, so im assuming that this missing module is at least part of my problem.

Post up a picture of where this box would have been on your truck. Then I will take a look at mine.
Also, do you have hydro-boost brakes? I think all the 3500s of that year did but just to be sure.

there is a distribution block. lines should come off the tank and into that, there is a sensor that is smack dap in the middle, it measures to make sure the flow is even from front to back.

have you had to fill your reservoir tank?

Yeah, I've had to refill the reservoir a couple times now.

if you dont see any drips coming from inything visable, I think your wheel cylinders are bad.

if they are, dont buy the rebuild kits for them, buy the cylinders as a whole unit.
I have never had any luck with rebuilding them.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my wheel cylinders are bad-I'm just afraid to start it until I've got a few days, since I'm not sure how long it's going to take me to get my drums free...my parking brake doesn't work, so I can't use my usual method of jacking the back end up, putting it in gear, and using the parking brake to pop the drums loose. It looks like I'll be beating it with a sledgehammer trying to brake the drums loose...and I know they're going to be rusted on, because all my wheels have been a PITA to get off the first time.

Pics of my Drivers side fender well....I have those empty holes with nothing in them.
I also have an empty plug that goes to nothing, must be a test port or something.

your distribution block is there, I can see the sensor and the block

if you follow the red wire down it goes right to the sensor. right below that one, there should be a smaller one, that has no sensor in it.

for you emergency brake, check the line, that line goes right across the hump in the tail pipe, if it is to close, it can burn the outside cover of the wire and cause it to hang up.

I replaced lines, cylinders, rear seals, and one bearing, in all I think I spent no more than 300.00, 100.00 was the weel bearing.
