It sounds most like a prime issue, what leads you to deduct an injection pump issue?

I found the "draw straw" repair. Here is a link to the repair if anyone would need it. Vulcan Draw Straw Installation I also need to replace the steel lines in the frame rail to and from the engine. Mysterync your correct, its not a fuel pump just a pick up and float. I'm too use to working on the gas powered cars :s: and didn't look closely. Thanks

Edit - the fuel heater is also known for leaking air, not hard or too expensive to replace, but you can also remove it and see if the miss goes away, the engine will run fine without it. if the problem is solved, get a new one and re-install.

i agree i went threw this with my old truck and it drove me nuts only to find out that it was just a pin whole in the line and it never dropped any fuel on the ground or anything to show it was leaking i just found out by replacing it when there was nothing else to change:c:
