NO, WH1C is wastegated.. The straight up H1C on the 1st gens is NOT wastegated...
My 95 had a WH1c. Looks much like an HX35. |
Ya the wh1c is wg an looks exactly the same to me. Could you swap housings wheels shafts and the center piece that the name is at the tip of my tongue but I cant remember it? An I made another thread and found out increased timing lowers boost. So between the pump differences an timing that would do it.

Hmm I was assuming the w in wh1c meant waste gated h1c .

if it's a Wh1c it IS wastegated... Being yours isn't, then it's a plain ol H1c from a first gen. As a side note, does yours have the mwe slots and silencer ring on the intake side like the WH1c? If so, that'd be really interesting....

My wh1c did or are you asking about the h1c? Any body know the specs of the stock wh1c?
