What purpose does the AFC housing serve if the fuel plate is out? With the fuel plate out it just looks like the AFC housing is just sitting there with one air line comming from the intake and one going to the turbo. And if you plug off the line going to the waste gate then what does it do? Anybody??

With the fuel plate out the AFC still does what it supposed to do. As boost rises the foot travels forward allowing more fueling. If you take that air line off you will kill all the top end your truck has.

The timing cover doesn have to be off the truck to time it either.
