Do it right and do it once. $1500 is going to get you a "stock" rebuild thats not going to hold anywhere near 350 hp.

Like it or not, a good trasmission is $$ and thats also why I dont have one...

my boss has a 99'dually he is around 350hp he put a tranny in for $1400 with a single disk(did all the work himself).. didnt last but a couple years.. finally just spent 4k and it i has been trouble free for 150k miles and he has around 450hp now... o the 4k trans is a goerend. and he pulls at a few fairs a year,

do it the first time... it will save money in the end. but if u plan on staying 350hp a good single disk will be plenty

well i jerked out the fuel plate and all that good stuff smokes like a chimney when you hammer down but dont think i will be driving like like to much all my friends wonder why they have no money at the end of the week found a guy that will do the work for free i just have to buy the parts
