if it's comming out between cylinders, i would say hg!

sounds like a headgasket to me
|
just replaced the thermostat in feb. when i put the aluminum radiator in, its not leaking anywhere else you can clearly see that its seepage from between the head and block and i wanted to make sure that it was time to do the head
i was just wondering about the coolant loss really, there seems to be more of it missing than is on the ground but i guess it could be leaking while im driving and drying up before i see it |
HG.....just replaced it on mine. it was doing the same thing
|
kinda in the same boat as me when I had the stock HG on mine if I really hot rodded it (like doing a brake stand) it would push water out the coolant overflow and the last time it blew out a heater hose (I guess 30 PSI boost into the water jackets is not good lol)

mine did the same as big bad diesel but mine was not the hg... the head was cracked between each valve... :scare2:

Head gasket, most likely. I have replaced six factory head gaskets on 12 valves that are rotted out in the front right corner. 2 of the heads had to be replaced do to slight cracks no where near the corner. The new gasket is a updated part that eliminates this from happening (well see over time). Be sure to have the head checked out before you slap it back on.
