egt?
so i finally installed pyro then moved star wheel FF, smoke screw FF, AFC HOUSING FF,:c:
and i can only hit 900 on the pyro? is there somthing wrong with my pyro or is it because of the bad tranny? tc is no good |
bad tc. no load means no real boost and no heat. replace tc and fix tranny and should be able to hit anything ya want

it just seems like even tho the tranny junk it shuld run more than that cuz she pours coals and goes pretty good

My old truck was like that. I did the same mods you have done and i was lucky to smack 900-1000 degrees. and that was pullin a trailer. my trans was not in good shape. Torque converter was in reeeaaalllyyy bad shape. i imagine if i had a good one it would have burried my my pyro. imo

that must be the problem... i mean i realize that im loosing egts and boost with bad tranny but didnt thought egts would be higher

Its a love/hate relationship. lol. they are great, but i need a turbo. kinda wishing i had smaller ones. makes alot of heat with my set up:ouch:

:c:so i put a fender washer in the afc,(smoke a little bit excessive on take off) and she hit 1000, but only 30 psi boost. guna tie wast gate and see how she runs

How hott do you want it to run?. the key to tuning is to make as much hp and tq and run as low of egt as possiable. im confused, it sounds like you want it to run hot. 30psi and 1000 degrease is not bad at all. Mine is 30-35 psi and 1500 degrease. I hate it. I didnt see your sig?. have you filled it out?:c:
