Alpine Type-R always deliver premium sound quality.

ill probably cut the rear pillers to 6.5s if i have room and put some tweeters in the plastic part a little higher... i dont like 6x9s so ill have to see if i can do something w/ them

dan33klein 05-10-2009 07:18 PM

along with two jl audio w3 10 inch subs powered by a legacy mosfet mono block 3600 watt amp:U:

im not doin the sub thing again... ive proved myself to the town a couple yrs ago, i was the loudest in town w/ i had my car, i made boxes and did some crazy designs. was sellin them on the net and stuff lol. got out of that stuff tho

um just so you know, you can easily fit a 5 & 3/4 in the back as long as the speaker is set up right. i mean thats what i did. if your gonna spend the money to replace them might as well get 5 and 3/4s:pals:

oglejust 05-11-2009 10:42 PM

hoping to fit 6.5's

For reference on the thread, crutchfield has an app for looking up speaker size. Anything is possible and door speakers are not hard to mount at all.

Have you guys heard of a brand called DLS over there?

They beat the hell out of Alpine, but they don't make head units.

Subs, Speakers and Amps

Theyre a swedish manufacturer and they've been compared with Harman/Kardon.

ARGH... just saying that makes me miss my BMW E60 even more... Harman/Kardon Logik7 FTW!
