Default stock speaker size?

whats the stock speaker size for the doors and the rear pillar? 94 std cab 2500 thanks

doors are 6x9's rear pillar are 5/1/4 circles.
get some nice alpine 3 ways if your replacing them

ill probably cut the rear pillers to 6.5s if i have room and put some tweeters in the plastic part a little higher... i dont like 6x9s so ill have to see if i can do something w/ them

yeah type Rs are sweet thats what i got.
along with two jl audio w3 10 inch subs powered by a legacy mosfet mono block 3600 watt amp

im not doin the sub thing again... ive proved myself to the town a couple yrs ago, i was the loudest in town w/ i had my car, i made boxes and did some crazy designs. was sellin them on the net and stuff . got out of that stuff tho

um just so you know, you can easily fit a 5 & 3/4 in the back as long as the speaker is set up right. i mean thats what i did. if your gonna spend the money to replace them might as well get 5 and 3/4s

For reference on the thread, crutchfield has an app for looking up speaker size. Anything is possible and door speakers are not hard to mount at all.

Have you guys heard of a brand called DLS over there?

They beat the hell out of Alpine, but they don't make head units.

Subs, Speakers and Amps

Theyre a swedish manufacturer and they've been compared with Harman/Kardon.

ARGH... just saying that makes me miss my BMW E60 even more... Harman/Kardon Logik7 FTW!
