Waste Gate Adjustment
I am kinda lazy and don't feel like walking into my barn to get my manual, so i figured i would do the next best thing and ask you guys, how do i adjust my waste gate, i dont want to let off the skinny pedal so quick, i spool right up to 40psi and i know thats not gooood:booo:. any suggestions or tips would be very helpful.:U:

the only thing you can do is get an aftermarket adjustable waste gate actuator.you could get a boost controller,or boost elbow(basicaly the same thing),or cut back on the fuel you givin it.but personaly i wouldn't do that.i'd go with the actuator.i havn't actually used one myself but i know people who have.

the hx can be adjusted................"T" into the rubber line with a gauge and a connection to fill from yer shop compressor...........the linkage rod is adjustable but it dont move much so hold yer hand on it when givin it air to see when it moves

i know how to put pressure to the system now, but once i do, what way do i screw or unscrew the lincage rod on the waste gate? for it to purge @ 30-35psi? is it clockwise or counter clockwise? pardon my ignorance

I dunno fer sure just mess with it ........50/50 chance
I cant remember shit these days:humm: |
i am only 21 and have the worst memory, thats why i write everything down. im going to mess with it tomorrow. i found a 60psi gauge in my basement that i am going to utalize! i also noticed today that the hose off the elbo on the compresser housing is filled with silicone. I am going to just cut it off and see if that helps with the psi. BTW I sent the plate out this morning.:U:

lol youre not the only one Im 22 and totally agree with you :argh:
