what he is saying is true. take for example 265-75-16 compared to 265-75-17. same size tire but different aspect ratio, the 17 will have a shorter sidewall. if both tires were the same brand/model you should notice the difference in handling. this usually isnt true when comparing 2-different sizes or 2-different brands, load ratings etc... all brands or models can be made different. some or maybe most people cant tell the difference or they just ignore it.

AND BESIDES A 295 IS A WIDER TIRE THAN A 265 NOT NECISSARILY TALLER DEPENDING ON THE SECOND NUMBER.

well your actualy only gaining half an inch on side wall size with 17's over 16's and i went from 16's to 18's and didnt notice any differance at all.... and the new tiers were toyo proxies :w2: they did hook up better
