|
I have heard nuttin but good bout em:U:
|
me too , i can get it for under a g note and i think this would help me towing my trailer. correct me if im wrong but this turbo should reduce my egts, along with alittle more ballz for going up good size grades
.:ok1: |
Is it a regualar Super B or a Super B Special thers a difference don't know much about but the special flows more and makes more power.
But like stated I have heard nothing but good about them. :U: |
IIRC ,
Super B is good for 425 HP , the Super B Special 525 , I have the Super B and Love it ! |
5shifter makes 553 on a hybrid 35
but i hear the super b is a good turbo to |
yeah it is just a regular super B but thats ok because im not looking to making the kind of power that the special can handle. but under a 1000 bucks, i think thats a pretty good price though, eh?
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- hey there diesel minded, did you notice a big differance between the stock turbo when you were loaded or unloaded |
Are the turbos on the Super B off sized so that you get good low end but still have the top end power of a bigger turbo?
|
What about a Super B Special?? Who knows what mods are needed to run a Super B Special on a 12V?Or is the special for race only and not a daily driver.

I had a Super B on my 95. It didn't impress me, but it wasn't a bad turbo at all. I just thought it would cool me off more than it did. I had the 14cm housing, and it spooled as good as stock, and stayed efficient a bit more than the stocker, but it only cooled me off a hundred degrees while towing. That was a 4x4 Automatic, but I can't imagine it would be much better on my stick shift.
Its a good turbo, but don't expect it to make big HP. |
