The numbers would suggest not a good idea on a diesel. There maybe room for reinventing the wheel with some R&D but would be very costly. Compounds are tried an true for sure.
Are the lines on the top scale of the graph horse power of that eco boost?

Diesel power mag did what they called "the ultimate single ". It was a Garrett ball bearing 71mm I think and they ran it with a bd diesel turbine diverter. It broke the 1000 rwhp with lots of nitrous. Brown's diesel was who owned the truck and did the work.

That was with a lot of nitrous and was making 650 on fuel. Aswell as not a very streetable setup. Especially for the price.

so after this post and some research it looks like ill start with the 351
then when the time is right and money is saved back up ill get my self a bigger one to compound!

as far as the eco boost talk I would think you could size your turbos to spool at what ever rpm you want... the eco boost probably has much bigger exhaust housing do to the cfm of the high rpms...

if you have a smaller exhaust housing you could get both turbo to run prime from 1400 rpm to 2800...

but it defiantly sounds like compounds are the answer for me...

It might even be cheaper and you could still put your fabing skills to work.I wanna see some pictures while your building the beast!!

It is a little easier now it used to be you needed photobucket or something like that. Now you can just drag and drop files from any folder on your computer. When you click on post reply look for the icon at the top that looks like mountain. Click that and just drag and drop files to that pop-up window.:cp:

According to the article it was pretty streetable. It made more boost cruising than a set of twins did. The diverter was key to the street ability I think.
