I have been working on the conversion and has been going pretty well so far. The 1/2 ton had a v6 6 speed and is now a 12v 5 speed.

Engine setting in its place.
One of my goals was to have all the gauges working. I don't want to have a stand alone tach or oil pressure gauge. I had a 4x4 nv4500 trans that I had to change to 2 wheel. Wasn't to hard to change plus I put an updated main shaft in it. |
even have room for twins from the looks of it .. :rocking:

Yes hx35 over ht3b, what I had so figured why not.
Pictures of trans mount, I used a chevy tail housing so had to make a mount for a dodge transmount. Reluctor ring off of v6 for crank position sensor. |
Thought I would update. I have put about 4500 miles on the truck and so far everything is working good. Only issues is I need to put kits in the turbos. The Ht3b is leaking oil on the hot side, not much. The hx35 is ok but figured if I do one might as well do both. Should have done them before build. Very happy, ride is good and power is really good.
