I didn't just buy the truck, I've had it since I graduated highschool. I bought it stock with 85000 miles. I just recently graduated college and have been able to mess with it. I just got the transmission. I guess I'll just have to keep slowly getting her ready. I just don't understand why it takes off like a sling shot at 70 I would just like that to happen sooner.

its in your AFC tuning ..

If you loosen up the Star wheel ( under the big allen plug .. turn twards the fender for power sooner ) .. .then you will need to push the fuel plate forward .. then mess with the smoke screw ( pre-boost fuel setting .. so your not smoking out the whole intersection ) ...

Do you have a 4gsk or at least a 3 tightend down to run 3200 ish. If you have the stock governer spring that will be a very likely reason it's so doggy. I would start there and continue to play with tuning

Good point .. that will do it for sure .. mine ruins right at 3k .. not 1 rpm over .. lol

:tu:... i read it and never thought to say so .. Heck yeah .. :rocking:... what was ur GPA ? .. mine was ok 3.6 .. in trade school .. Heavy duty drivetrain Diesel school ..
