Might call and ask. It definitely is a pump problem.

little bit of an update / question, truck is still inop havent had the money to get much work done on it and have been working on steering issues, but my question is...

on my local craigslist there is a guy selling a good pump from an 8.3l cummins, from everything i see it is a p7100 pump, i did some research on it and some guys say that it will work with mods to the case for oiling since the 8.3 oils from the timing case and our p pumps are oiled from the side. i was just curious if anyone on here has used one off an 8.3 with said mods. i mean hes selling it for 475... i can swing that easily if it will work
