Need to know what turbos he is planning on using ... He is planning to shoot for big numbers ...

define " big numbers" ... that seems to mean very different power levels from person to person

big numbers to me is 750 plus

I have 90HP injectors. I was... underwhelmed. To be fair, I'm still running a stock turbo- which is most of my problem- BUT. I will be changing the turbo, and I will NOT be working around these injectors when I make that decision.
Injector technology has changed big time in the last few years, and 90HP injectors (if you get good ones) are far better than they used to be. Pop-off, spray pattern and all that jazz. But IMO, they still aren't worth the cost of "upgrading" to them. I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd rather use a top quality 150HP injector and tune the pump down if the turbo isn't up to it.

larger you go the heavier the spray and potential worse fuel economy. injector size is 100% corolated to end goal and turbo size. everything can be de tuned or turned up, build something that is BALANCED across the board.

I think trevor (97cummins) is shooting for the 600 mark .... he understands that he needs input and suck before getting there though ... we have done plenty of work on hit truck ...

We actually need to get mine pumped up a bit ... need to fix my leaking HG first of course .... all in time :c:

I'd be a little bit surprised if he can hit 600 with 90HP injectors. Not saying it can't be done, I know it can, it's just not easy without giving up something significant around town. If what you want is a dyno queen though, I'm sure it's doable. Just my 2¢

5x.014's, 145* cone, for turbos mod your stock wastegate and throw a s475/83/1.1 t6 under it. Or if you are tired of that hx 35 my next choice is and he351. If you are willing to spend a bit more on a bottom charger a gt4202 1.15wg is a great choice

Me personally i'm thinking about the S300 ... 62/65/14... S400 66/74/16 ... was recomended to me ... or the aroura 3K with a aroura 4k primary ... $$$$$$$ big issue there ... :s:

94 12valve 03-30-2014 07:15 AM

I think you mean 3k and 5k the 4k is way too small for a primary ... and your first set you listed will work but you will be wishing at a later date that you had gone with the s475/83/1.1 t6
