MAJOR OIL LEAKING 12 valve, help please
i have a ppump 12 valve 149k i changed the oil when i got it and i have went 7k miles and have put 13 gallons in it, yes 13! warm idle a drip of oil falls out blow by tube every 3 seconds the ground has sprinkles towards front of motor and a lot of blow by out the tube and oil fill cap! drive at 65 for a hr and a half and loose 2 gallons of oil. help please.

I would first check for any dilution of the oil by fuel. Does it have a misfire? If so I'd likely perform a cylinder contribution test and locate the misfire, and follow up with a compression test then a leak down most will likely find the culprit if it's blow by related.

compression seems to be fine no test but still starts ok in cold no plug in no misfire no tick maybe a little fuel in oil but it gets freshened up to soon to tell!it also blueish grey smokes till warm if its cold.

Any oil around the outlet of the turbo? Inlet? Think with that much oil consumption a compression test would be pretty mandatory regardless of external causes. Any external leaks such a timing case?

nothin on turbo and yes the front of the motor leaks good but its so nasty u cant tell purple power and a pressure washer wont take this stuff off lol

Probably have a cracked timing case as well. Another oil leak hot spot is vacuum pump. Probably take a look at those after getting a compression test. If you need to pull it for a overhaul you could do it all at once out of the truck and complete the work much faster.

thats somethin else the 4 wheel drive all acts right and works like it should but no front tire pull. same vaccuum pump? and i dont think anyone has touched the kdp yet either

so the 4wd not workin could be part of my oil leak to? thats crazy and i think im gonna kdp it and get a timing plate cover cause it is cracked! the disconnect as in actuator?
