Explain fuel plate size

I hear people have #1, #6, #10, 100 fuel plates. Can someone explain the sizes to me please?

There is a thread here that explains them. Let me see if I can find it.

Fuel Stop Plates
Commonly known as a “cam plate”, BD’s Fuel Stop Plate controls the rack travel, which affects the amount of fuel the Bosch 7100 fuel pump delivers. Six different ramp designs enable power gains from 30 to 150 hp and 70 to 300 lb.-ft. of torque. A calibrated boost tube orifice is included to improve turbo performance. Requires disassemble of fuel pump.

depends on how your truck runs? temps smoke ect ect. a 0 is most aggressive followed by a 100. if it is running hot use a more conservative plate. if there is room for more heat go more aggressive.

The cam plates also determine where the fuel is delivered in load and RPM.

Your thinking of the star wheel .... it determines when the fuel is added ... smooke screw is like Idle mixture screw .. more or less .. and fuel plate is how much fuel you will get .. in a nut shell ...

Right now I have a silver 64 turbo on the truck. The truck dosent even smoke at all. Which is fine with me. The egts hit 1200 wide open with 45 lbs of boost. When I get the twins, intercooler and manifold installed I want more fuel. I don't mind to have a little smoke. I just don't want to be blacking out the sun. I think I need an aggressive fuel plate with these mods. Or am I wrong.
