Thank you for your help!! I'll pull it off check the wires and see if I can get a new one

You can definitely get a new one. Just be aware that they aren't all created equal. The ones from Chrysler are pricy, but usually good. I've had them come from part stores that were way out of spec brand new in the box. NAPA is less then half the cost of OEM for a reason. I'm not sure how they get away with it, but there you go. I went through lots of cheap crappy ones before I bit the bullet and got one from the dealer. You may do better getting an OEM one online someplace like Rockauto.

Worn parts and incorrect linkage lengths are often the cause of incorrect tps voltages. Very rarely will the base voltage of the sensor be 1v

also if something is lodged in VB ... it will shift funky also ....
I had the same issue when I lost my TC ... I had to do a trans service twice ... now doin good |
Yeah, line pressure test is one way to know for sure, but I'd check the easy stuff first.

You really should do some pressure testing. A 100 lb gauge and 8-10 feet of hose--on the gov. port will help you diagnose it.
