ABS Light and Brake Light
My abs and brake light are both on and stay on.
could it be one of the sensors is bad or the sensor on the rear differential needs replaced? .... i cant have the brakes going out lol...:td: |
I had the same problem from what I've read the sensor is the most comon culpret.. but my isue was the tail light harness was wedged under my rotted bed and was grounding out so i kept poping the brake fuse.. so my sug. is check your fuse and wires then the sensor.. maybe just a cleaning will do.. hope this helps

Vacuum leaks often cause the vacuum switch to illuminate the brake light.

my dash was lit up like a christmas tree... the odometer and none of the gauges worked correctly. blown alternator or something stupid like that... it was fixed, so then my brake and abs lights came on so it got me frustrated and i found out after further knee scraping on my driveway that these lights were due to my sensor being covered in an inch of mud XD. simple clean and fix. i check/service over my hoses and entire truck regularly. Its the only thing to my name. I pay enough for it. :hammer:
