They do, it's the 5W-40 European Car Formula (AFL), 100% synthetic, ok'd for extended drain intervals....just FYI

Well! VW appears to have changed there mind again on oil! The 505.01 Castrol TXT 5w40 appears to be no longer available! The replacement is Castrol SLX 5w30. I've done some research and what I have found is that the new Mobil 1 ESP (Emission Protective System) 5w30 or 5w40 is compatible and it's CHEAPER then Castrol. Here are the Specs. Home this helps.
