Default Can't decide on which truck to buy!

Currently have a 95 12v that just needs to go to someone who will take time that I don't have to touch everything up. So I'm in the market for a new truck. Needing a 3500 either drw or srw. I pull gooseneck a and my 36' race trailer with it. I'm considering getting a duramax just for the fact of that tranny. But the cummins has the advantage with me because... Well... My 12v would be pissed if I didn't live on with the big C. Anyhow, I'm looking at an lbz with 130k for 23k. All stock. And really wanting the 12 cummins with 6 speed manual but I didn't get approved for it. For towing and daily driving, would the 5.9 with a 6 spd be better or worse than the lbz?

as for working on the cummins, you will have more more to work on it.
the duramax, not so much work room.
I think the 6 speed is a little better than the allison because it's not that hard to rebuild it. But i've heard of shops when it comes to the allison tranny, they will just replace it because they don't like rebuilding them. But thats just me.
