I am interested in two different diesel modules, and was wondering what kind of info I could get on them. The first is for my truck, an 06 dodge, that I would like to get a turbo timer for. What does the install entail, and how easy is it to adjust on the fly? The second module I am interested in is the ford module for 2000 powerstrokes that uses the warm up valve in the turbo as an exhaust brake as well as controlling the torque converter lockup. How useful is the warm up valve when used as an exaust brake? I can't seem to find any info on how this unit works, or how it is installed. Any info you could get to me would be great! I was just wondering what the efficiency of using the warm up valve as an exhaust brake would be. How does it compare to the performance of a normal exhaust brake? Any info would help my decision. Thanks -

It functions in the same manner as an external exhaust brake would. We are only using what the factory has on the truck to get the same effect. This will save you time and money in the manner that you won't have to buy another in line valve and modify exsisting components to put it on. -

Jason, correct me if Im wrong, but I believe the warm up valve is just for Ford Powerstroke applications. -

Thanks for lookin out, but I'm actually looking into the product for my pops 2000 powerstroke. I was just trying to figure out if it actually the same amount of braking power that an exhaust brake by BD might have. If it has the same amount of power it will save me the hassle of installing the vacuum pumps and assorted hardware. With this system I will just need to splice into some wiring. Thanks for the info painless! I'll keep it in mind! -
