what gets me is taxing used stuff, i know this is a little off topic here but it applies to this situation well. when something is bought NEW you pay sales tax on it. then when it is sold as USED you are charged sales tax on it, then when it is sold again you pay sales tax on it. isn't there something in the Constitution about double taxation? how can they tax you on something that has already been taxed? nevermind..... it's the Government... they can do what they want....

Not to mention that where I used to live in VA, you get a personal property tax twice a year on any vehicles you own, and a $45 or so fee for a "city sticker" that allows you to park your car at your own residence. All this on top of the normal registration fees that you pay the DMV.
