Default oil pressure issue?

my '90 cummins seems to be having some issues and I'm confused as to what the verdict is. on start up the oil pressure is fine but you'll be driving down the road and the gauge will fall below the gauge lines and come back up, moving up and down very often. also noticed sometimes the speedometer and odometer will be frozen (no working) when you start driving. I dont know if this is a dash/electronic issue, oil pump/sensor issue or what. any help would be greatly appreciated.

maybe you need a new cluster? sounds like the whole thing is doing it..... check fuses?

*The 30 amp square (with tiny window) Engine Mgmt Fuse under the hood in the black wiring/fuse box on the driver side.

Also check the tsbs on this it might be a recall. (my 04 dmax had the same issue it was recalled.).
if it drives fine then its more then likely the cluster... if not then the ecm is going..either way its about 3-400.00 bucks unless its a recall.

heres some info on recalls and on tsbs,, interesting findings... some heads up on other issues. I did see a tsb ( technical service bullitin ) on wiring routing issues , look under tsb and youll find it.
