Across the diesel engine spectrum, valvetrain upgrades are becoming more common. Flirtin’ With Disaster Performance recently released its bolt-on billet roller rockers for ’01 to ’11 Duramax mills, which will work in conjunction with the factory push tubes. Thanks to being 20 percent lighter than the factory units, its rockers have been proven to show a 15-to-61-rwhp increase (depending on your engine combination) and can improve mileage up to 1.2 mpg. Other benefits include: better durability, ratio accuracy, improved oiling, less friction, and increased throttle response.
