Getrag 360 (89-93), NV4500 (94-03), NV5600 (02-05), G56 (05.5-now).

NV4500 would be the cheapest and easier option (guessin its for your 92). If you want a 6 speed, the NV5600 can handle more power and abuse than the G56.

but the g56 has a shorter shift pattern. and like i stated, the R code g56 is what im wanting for the gear ratio's in it. but when i do this, it WILL be a 6spd. without a doubt.

True it does I think it shifts a lot nicer than the NV5600. But be careful it does have an aluminum case which makes it weaker than the 5600, just depends on how much power your going to run and what you'll be using it for.

Also here is a link to charts for gear ratios of both the 1st and 2nd gen G56's, not sure which one you have.

Gear Vendors Under/Overdrive Dodge/Dodge RAM Manual transmissions.
