How do I turn up the PS Pump?
I've got a 4BTA in my '94 4Runner and I am running full hydraulic steering with 46" diameter tires. The direct drive power steering pump that is integrated with the 4BTA does not generate enough pressure to turn the tires when they are in a bind.
On the standard belt driven Saginaw pumps it is relatively easy to increase flow and pressure by drilling out the orifice and replacing a spring. Can anyone provide detailed instructions on how to step-up the direct drive pump?
Thanks,
Robert
