Electr. Boost controller vs. Manual?
I have a IHI RHB59 turbo in my Jeep- this small unit has excellent accelerating abilities and is capable to deliver good pressures.
Since the engine is relative sensitive to overload I use the boost increase only for special occasions.
My Forge manual boost controller is located under the hood and for convenience I would like to have a in cab located unit, to be able to run factory boost pressure when not needed.
Does anyone have experience with electronic boost controllers like GReddy, AEM, turbosmart or HKS?
I don't like the ricer image, but it seems they are all reliable units.
I would like to hear some opinions about them, because those units have all in common that they aren't cheap...
