Intercooler spray bar

Intercooler spray bar
I'm still working on improving airflow on the restricted intercooler and I found the nitrous spray bar which is mounted in front of the intercooler to decrease intercooler temperatures.
They claim a decrease of up to 20° with the use of NOS.
Due to the reason that the use of nitrous is causing big trouble in germany, I was thinking of the use of CO²- It's available everywhere, cheap when compared with nitrous.
Do you think it's worth a try- or is it useless?
Yes , I would love to use a direct NOS injection- but it is illegal over here.

I don't see why not since your basicly shooting the cooler with dry ice. I couldn't find the vapor temp of co2 but n2o has a vapor temp around -125* But this isn't used for everyday driving, just racing applications only. Not practical for full time street use. Why is nitrous illegal in Germany? Never heard of that before.

Nitrous, even with the added sulfur as a deterrent is still a narcotic in germany.
As a reason of that you have to be at least a dentist to buy it and you have to proof the proper use of it.
It is used illegal for racing applications over here- refill is difficult and has to be done in the netherlands.
Dry ice is also difficult to organize.
Vapor temp of co² is around - 75°. I would like to use it as a cool down aid due to those hypersensitive heads of the VM Diesel.
