Default front springs

Kowdy boys, i need to replace the front leaf springs in my 2001 f350. I am just wondering if there are any aftermarket springs that are better and/or chaeper than the factory or should I just put in the ford parts and go for another 240,000 miles.

Default leafs

I've looked around before, and the prices online vs local are very close after you pay shipping so call the local suspension places, each leaf should be around 250-275 if I remember right, get new shackles too. You can also do polyurethane bushings too. My local place did new leafs with the leveling leafs (6 leafs total) for 300 each, that included new U-bolts for the thicker springs.

You could search craigslist too for some used ones. I found some very low mileage (10,000) V codes for $150 on CL.

If you cant find any on craiglists you probably find a set of leveling spring packs for a couple hundred bucks!
