i was wanting to know that you have heard about rivercity single shots weather it be good or bad i found a good deal on then but the guy didnt seem to educated about them or anything else he was selling just wanted to know if anyone has had any kind of problem with them if their even wirth messing with

 

I am not sure about River City, There are several companies out there that go by River city, a good one, and a not so good one.

He needs to provide you what size they are, what nozzle they have and if they were flow tested before I would touch them. I would also have him send them to an injector builder of your choice to be flowed and checked before you buy them.

 

i think id be really leary about them if the guy selling doesnt know much about them, with something and critical as injectors its really better to be safe than sorry. i mean if its a realllllyyy smokin' deal you might take the chances but deff. have them flowed and inspected like csipsd mentioned. But depending on the cost of having that done it may not make that deal so good.

 

he said they were stage 2's 180cc and they were bought fron rivercity in East Peoria
Illinois they only have 1000 miles on them or so he says would the place he bought them have a record of the flow charts cuz they were bought in april of this year he emailed me the invoice from river city and he wants $200 + my stocks. hes putting the truck back to stock so he can sell it he bought a 06 cummins and wants out of his 7.3 and he also has a adrenaline hpop that im considering also

 

$200 bucks??? Thats too good to be true...

 

well $200 plus my stock injectors and he wants $500 for the pump do u know anything about the place in ill. is that the good one or the not so good one

and yeah it seems to good to be true but hes called me back a few times with more info i wanted from him and hes forwarded me the invoices from river city with his address and everything on them and when i told him not to pull them from his truck so i could run a power balance and buzz test on them and hear his truck run he was all for it so i was a little at ease when he said that do you know of any local shops that could flow test them close to dundee michigan that are reliable

 

If this is the company I would be a bit leary...

Not alot bad, but several very unhappy 6.0 injector sales.

River City Diesel

 

Honestly for $200 bucks I dont think you could go wrong. Even if something is wrong they could be fixed for less then a few hundred.

 

would single shot injectors make the diesel chatter louder? with improved mpgs and horsepower?

 

would you pay 500 for the pump with a new ipr and all the other good stuff and who would you trust to flow test them ? and should i have the pump tested also or would diesel site tack care of any problem i would have even if im not the original buyer?
