Default tuning

ok yall im getting a ts chip finally.

im not going php or anyone else ive made up my mind that i wanna keep my tuning local so this thread isnt about who to get tunes from but what tunes i should run.

the guy that im getting tunes from has a ton of tunes he can adjust to meet my needs. as it stands the truck has the basics (exhaust and intake)

the truck is mostly a dd but does see some loads in the bed and decent weight on a bumper pull trailer (5 to 7k lb)

im thinking anti theft smoke show 1200 rpm high idle a moderate tow tune and a good performance tune (100 to 120) and a race tune (120 to 140)

oh ya trucks an 03 so ive got PMRs

tell you what man, i got a chip, and the smoke show is basically useless, the 120 puts out enough, and the smoke show only works on low boost so only works if your parked your at idle basically

dont we all , but i'd shy away from a 140 tune with pmrs.... i have PHPs 120 race for my big tune and it will run pretty damn good, faster than the average diesel around here... i also have their lope idle, its pretty nice just to mess around with, it doubles as a smoke tune too

for a dd i would probably run like an 80 and use the 120 or so for playing around, i know for me its hard to keep my foot out of it when i set it to 120
