I have 6 codes throw and other problems please help
How it goin i have a 2000 black crew cab 4x4 with these mods
TS 6pos chip
5in exhaust turbo back
intake
now first off it throws these codes
1670
1211
0237
0541
1107
0718
And on the other note i have had this money pit for about 2+yrs now and i dont think it has ran right since i bought it , the truck was stuggling at low rpms kinda like a shutter and was told it was the tranny so took and had tranny guy check it out he said was the torque converter shutter so i had a good built tranny with billet torque converter put in and when i got the truck back quess what same problem so anyway took it back and he replaced #8 injector got little better but it is still very noticeable especially when in O/D at low rps
Also my truck has a boost guage just put it in and with stock setting only 5-8 and it took forever to get there so i started doing free mods like close the waste plug the red line still no most i can get is 15 and i relly have to get on in race mode to do that and still i dont feel like it just up there like it should please help thanks

i checked for a boost leak and the v-clap on the exhaust side of the turbo was loose and i tightened it up also after driving the truck i pulled one of the vacum lines and it seem to be holding vacum good and after i tightened the v clamp it only gave me like a pound or 2 more of boost and like i said it doesnt climb there as fast as it should

the tranny guy never said anything about soot around the uppies what does it mean

ok get under your truck and find where the back of the manifolds are, take a flashlight and shine it up behind the motor, you will see the pipes (one on each side of the transmission) they go up to the turbo collector, or the baby butt as some call it. at that collector and at the manifolds there are flanges with bolts and gaskets, these gaskets are common to fail, you will see black soot if they have failed. you said the vband clamp was loose at the turbo? was it the one on the exhaust or boost side?

I think there's a lot you should check out. I'll type it out when I'm not on my phone.

Concerns in red!
Good luck. Let me know what happens!

1670- PCM-IDM diagnostic communication error EF signal not detected= Open/shorted EF or FDCS, open IDM ground Open/shorted EF circuit
This one causes some concern. I'd clear the codes, drive it and see if it pops back up.
1211- ICP pressure above/below desired= IPR valve, grounded IPR circuit, high pressure oil leak
Normal for a tuned truck, but you may want to check your ICP. Or clear the code and see if it comes back with light driving.
0237- Turbo boost sensor A circuit low input Turbo boost sensor A circuit high input= Circuit open, short to ground, MAP sensor Circuit short to power, MAP sensor
Check your map line. If the line or the sensor is broken, your truck will not fuel, because it will not see boost. That could be the main issue at hand.
0541- Manifold intake air heater circuit failure Manifold intake air heater circuit failure= Relay failure, open/short circuit Relay failure, short circuit
This is most likely a shorted/broken AIH, no big deal.
1107- Dual Alternator upper fault (monitor) Dual alternator lower fault (control) Dual alternator lower circuit malf. (control) Dual alternator BATT lamp ckt. malf.= Circuit failure, alternator failure, PCM Circuit failure, alternator failure, PCM Circuit failure, alternator failure, PCM Open/short circuit, lamp, fuse, PCM
Blown fuse??? Something's up with this one...
0718- TSS sensor circuit malfunction fault TSS intermittent failure Noisey TSS= Short/ open circuit, sensor, PCM Short/ open circuit, sensor, PCM Erratic signal, sensor, int. circuit
This one may be related to the 1107, both cause me concern. Hopefully you don't have any PCM problems. Clear the codes, if they come back, it's a real issue.
