Default Fun Facts

Sometimes when I get bored I'll try to find out things about my truck online, but typically I read the same things over and over. Just wondering what are some GOOD and BAD things you know about or have experienced or heard about 7.3's?

The Park/Neutral cut out switch in the automatics is tied to the little indicator post you see in the steering column. If that goes out of adjustment you will get a no start condition where all electricals work, but nothing happens when you turn the key.

It is easy to adjust: there is a thumb wheel inside the column that moves the needle back and forth. Adjust that to be in the middle of the "P"

A good test: if you have electricals but no crank, shift into Neutral and try. If it fires up with no issues, it's probably the adjustment.
