Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a box van. The guy that owns it says it needs a couple of injectors. The motor has 330k on it but they were all freeway miles. He drove from Tacome to Portland wholesaleing flowers. His story checks out. My question is how hard is it to change injectors on a cube van, and a guy with 1/2 a brain do it, and is it worth it? The guy came down to $1700. Seems like a good deal if I can change the injectors myself. Thanks for any help

Seems like with the hump off you should be able to work on it easy. ( I have never worked on a e350). But I have been around a couple and the front hood is a joke. Trying to handle anything besides alt, a/c has to be inside the cab.

I do know one thing if the up pipes leak they are easy to get to. For 1700 you could part it out and break even.

I know the 6.0's you take out a motor mount (ambos). But they are pretty much the same idea...I don't think the 7.3L were much different then them. If you buy it..shoot you can try your luck..and if you don't do worth a crap pull it and through new injectors and turbo on it and probably can get some money off the engine.
