Default Update on 08 6.4 problems

Just a quick update - Talked to Ford a third time - told me the same thing - My problem They put a new program in it and I'm supposed to go pick it up today to see if it worked. I will let everybody know if the 'Latest and Greatest' as they told me in prodrams solves my problem.

The auto dealers always blame the consumer for the problems. They were hollerin 'bad fuel' for the first month then 'remembered that the original program they put in them was causing the trucks to blow flames out the exhaust. We will see if this fixes it.

Not only can we not build a vehicle worth the crap, but when something breaks, they try an blame us. Might as well not have em covered by a warranty.

The big 3 should not be anywhere close to broke. We spend so much $$ on new vehicles and you are always hearin of somebody besides the manufacterer footin the bill for the problems the vehicle has.

I think I must have got the all mighty 'LEMON'. I know alot of other guys that have them and they love them. I tried to tell Ford that and they told me I must be too picky.

HI txredman, I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing getting rid of my 1999 F250 7.3 BUT I love this new superduty, only negatives I see is, the MPG and the fact that the front cab must come of to work on the engine !!

well if you keep having problems after problems keep your recipts and file the lemon law on it i baught my 2008 F250 with 2300 miles on it and it has 14000 miles on it now ive had to send it in for a new radiator because they are over pressuring causing the seam on the left hand botom corner to split out i noticed mine leaking real slow and they have a recall on these trucks for it. they are installing a T in the little line to reduce the pressure on these radiators they also have a recall on the fuel tanks not bein braced properly good luck with your truck ive realy liked mine
