Looking at buying a 2008 F250 with a 6.4L. The truck has 76k+ miles on it. What should I look for and should i be worried about the 6.4L turning out to be like the 6.0L

 

id deff see what mods have been done. big ones u want done or want to do asap are:
1. Rad upper hose (wanna make sure its got white plastic ends not black where it connects to the rad.) black are older single O ring design and known to leek.
2. DPF Delete. Check if the DPF is still installed in the exhaust if so look at what ur looking at in parts labor (if u can't do it urself) and programer to turn it off
3. EGR coolers u want em deleted.
I my self picked up a 2008 with 94000 miles just now rounding 100,000 after about 6 months and absolutely no issues. when i got it it only had the DPF deleted i did the EGR cooler delete my self, and about to replace the rad hose (haven't had any leeks yet with the old one but rather be safe then sorry hoses are only about $60
