Default no 4x4

4x4 is not working. My heat and air were blowing out the defroster now it blows out the vents Like it it should but my 4x4 doesn't work the elec or the Manuel. No light or nothing. Last time it worked was when I went through the car wash and the wheel cleaner turned on my Manuel hubs about two weeks ago. Tried the 4x4 in field Yesterday and nothing. Had to be pulled out

If you turn the key on, and wait for all the clicking to stop, then flick your 4x4 switch, you should hear the actuator on the t-case, if not, it could be the fuse, the switch, or just a bad actuator,
If you hear the actuator it could be the locker in one of the hubs, or something in the t-case.

Check the fluid level in your t case also. It uses auto trans fluid and leaks out a little at a time. Most of us don't think to check it but it can cause real problems if too low.
