Default plowing with a lift kit

does anyone have any experience plowing with either a 4.5" lift or a 6" lift? if so what tires/rims do you use in the winter and how does the lift affect the angle of the plow? can the plow be adjusted with either lift to compensate for the extra height?

thanks

You can put a huge lift on the truck but your mount must be to the plow mfg specific height. I have a boss and meyer, Boss is 15 1/2" and I think meyer is 13 1/2" No plow mfg will have enough adjustment in the brackets for a 6" lift. so you will have to custom fab up a bracket and at that point your truck will look goofy with the push beam haning down that low.

I have plowed with a 6" fabtech lift on an 06 GMC. The plow was a Hinicker and when they put the truck mount on the welded two mounts on top of each other so it would hang down far enough to be in the stock truck location. Doesn't look to awful bad
